As we welcome the New Year, on behalf of Tsinghua Medicine, we would like to extend our heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all of you who have supported the development of Tsinghua Medicine.
As documented in the report of the 20th National Congress of Communist Party of China, human health is a key indicator of a prosperous nation and a strong country. China must prioritize the people's health and improve policies on promoting public health. Tsinghua Medicine prioritizes national service, focusing on scientific planning, reform, innovation, frontier leadership, and international exchange, and continues to advance with its 4I strategy—Innovation, Initiation, Internationalization, and Integration—pushing forward our mission and vision for medical development.
In 2024, Tsinghua Medicine prioritized the optimization of its curriculum and the establishment of a unique educational model tailored to the needs of the medical field. We have also expanded courses in medical artificial intelligence, public health, and social medicine, with 18 new graduate courses added. Nearly 30 students have participated in exchange programs with renowned universities such as the University of Oxford, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Melbourne. We celebrated the graduation of nearly 400 students, contributing Tsinghua's strength to medical education and healthcare endeavors!
