The School of Clinical Medicine has established an oncology research center that integrates basic and translational research, precision prevention, and treatment research. Focusing on common malignancies like lung, gastrointestinal, brain, and gynaecological tumors, thecenter employs a systemic paradigm, alongside data-intensive methods, to investigate and scrutinize the tumors’ molecular pathological mechanisms and biological properties. The center also develops new strategies for early identification and treatment of those at high risk of cancer. It pilots and employs new precision techniques, prioritizes systematic diagnosis and management, facilitates thecreationof a multi-modal, smart pattern for oncological diagnosis and treatment, and will eventually evolve into a state-of-the-art oncological center.
