November 11th to 12th, 2017 -- the "New Drug Research and Development Series: the academic seminar on computer-aided drug design”, hosted by the SPS of Tsinghua University, was successfully held in Tsinghua University. The seminar was the second time offline courses of the "Computer Aided Drug Design Series", by taking mixed teaching model to benefit more pharmaceutical professionals, and to provide the world's top method/technology and more research exploration paths and possibilities. The course was highly regarded by the industry at the beginning of its release.
 
The two-day academic seminar was held in the Zhengyutong Lecture Hall of Tsinghua University. More than 120 professionals from the university and other related departments and institutes attended the conference. The seminar was honored to invite Dr. Hubert Li and Dr. Jianxin Duan, experts in the field of computational chemistry, to to deliver speeches and share the wonderful experiences.
 
During the two-day academic seminar, the students at the scene enthusiastically asked questions and had a lively interaction with the presenter, they expressed that the application of the new tool in the field of computational chemistry has a good inspiration for the existing academic research and practice, and its added more innovative and effective research methods to the drug design.
