The book was edited by Professor Qinping Liao, Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, and Associate Professor Zhang Lei who is the Associate Director, and co-edited by the gynecological microecological infection research team.The book is published by Canada’s M.Y. Culture Publishing House. The book is a project approved by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation.It is also a scientific research and cultivation project of Beijing hospitals and a development project of Tsinghua University Precision Research Institute.
The human body is the host of microbes, and the relationship between microbes and hosts is mutually beneficial and symbiotic, forming another system of the human body-the human microecosystem. The vaginal microecology is part of the human microecology.The study of the structure and function of microbes in the health and disease states of women's vagina and their relationship with their hosts is an important part of life science. This book collects a large number of microbial pictures under normal and diseased conditions in gynecology, including general pictures of human diseases, Gram staining pictures, electron microscope pictures, etc., combined with different physiological and pathological conditions, the discussion from basic research to clinical practice is super scientific and practical.

Professor Qinping Liao’s team has been devoted to the research of female lower reproductive tract microecology and female infectious diseases for many years. This book is the essence of the clinical accumulation of professor Qinping Liao's team, and opens a door for researchers to study the microcosm of the female reproductive tract. Atlas has been unveiled in a number of academic conferences and events in gynecology and has been well received by colleagues in the industry.
